We ship only our premium quality tree ripened and hand picked and packed gift apples. From harvest to American Thanksgiving is the most successful time to ship apples from our farm - the apples are fresh from the trees and full of crunch and flavor. In addition our widest selection is available including many of our very special historic and low spray varieties.
We grow fifty varieties of apples on our farm. Our wide spectrum of varieties includes the newest selections, traditional favorites, heirloom apple varieties - some grown on trees over one hundred years old - and experimental 'low spray' varieties - some still only numbered selections. Here at Hurd Orchards we are all very proud of our apples, and the care that we give them. We thoroughly enjoy the amazing contrasts in flavor between varieties.
